Key Responsibilities:
•Greeting patients and welcoming them into our Centre.
•Collecting & entering patient details into the database.
•Scheduling appointments.
•Answering telephone calls & enquiries.
•Administration support and other ad hoc duties.

Experience & Attributes:
•Exceptional customer service skills with previous customer service experience an advantage.
•Excellent communication skills including a professional & personable telephone manner.
•Detail-orientated.
•Ability to multi-task and prioritise.
•Knowledge of Best Practice an advantage.
•Ability to work as part of a multifaceted team and independently.
•Neat and professional presentation.

Simon Curnow is a registered psychologist with a bachelors degree (B.Psych, Hons) from the University of NSW and a master’s degree (M.Psych, Forensic) in forensic psychology from Western Sydney University. Simon has over 20 years experience working in a variety of roles and with a range of client populations, most recently with Corrective Services NSW.

Simon has a strength-based approach which provides an empathic and supportive environment. This enables a collaborative approach, working together with clients to articulate their aspirations and assist them to move toward their goals, mindful that each person is unique and their problems and issues require an individual resolution.

Simon’s methods are based on current thinking and the latest research to provide treatment aimed to helping improve the quality of the patients’ lives. This evidence-based approach is designed to provide the most up to date and effective treatments, with therapy formulated to be structured and achieve change in a short time yet to be sustained in the long term.

Special interests include:
Sleep issues
Alcohol and Substance Abuse and Dependence
Anger Management
Social Anxiety, Generalised Anxiety and Post Traumatic Stress.
