After competing in Hawaii a few months ago. Interchange Shoalhaven's participant Bailey is now on his way to Oceanside California to compete in the world tour with his Interchange Shoalhaven and Good Surf team.

We are beyond proud of Bailey and his achievements in the surfing world and we can not wait to see him compete in the coming weeks!

Below, We Are Explorers have written a fantastic feature story about Bailey and how they are sharing their journey in trying to bring adaptive surfing to the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games.

Our cooking school at the Interchange Shoalhaven is for you! 🥦

Our cooking classes are an opportunity for you to release your inner chef and connect with others through cooking, with the support of our team. Our sessions are designed for all levels of knowledge and experience and will involve choosing the recipes and meals you wish to make, and being part of the whole cooking process start to finish - from proper preparation and food handling, to cleaning up and enjoying your creation!

This 10 week course will allow you to discover flavours of the world by cooking a dish each week from a different country,

This month several of our carers enjoyed a delicious roast dinner provided by Civic Kitchen & Catering Nowra and the Interchange team, held at our new central offices in Nowra.

This lunch was a chance for our carers to connect with fellow carers and for Interchange to say thank you for all their hard work and support they provide to their ones.

A special thanks to our guest speaker from Be Here Nowra who discussed the importance of building rest and self care into daily life.
