Erythematotelangiectatic rosacea (ETR)
This type causes persistent redness on the face (especially cheeks and nose) along with visible small blood vessels. Skin may feel sensitive, dry, or prone to flushing.

Papulopustular rosacea
Often called “acne rosacea,” this includes redness plus breakouts that look like acne—red bumps and pus-filled pimples. It can be mistaken for regular acne but usually occurs in adults.

Phymatous rosacea
A rarer form where the skin thickens and becomes bumpy, most commonly affecting the nose (a condition called rhinophyma). The skin may appear enlarged or uneven.
