Welcome Aboard Dr Mohammad Omer at Pascoe Vale Road Medical Centre from Tuesday 10th March 2026.

Dr Mohammad Omer was born in the Middle East and speaks English, Arabic and Turkish. He graduated medical school in 2006. He has completed Post Graduate Certificate in Public Health from Griffith University Queensland in 2010 and also completed Emergency Medicine in 2016 at Australian College of Emergency Medicine. He is a member of FRACGP. Dr Omer has a wide variety of clinical experience with interest in skin conditions and skin cancer.

We are searching for enthusiastic, highly motivated Medical Receptionists to join our busy Medical Centre Monday to Saturday.

Responsibilities of the role:
* Greeting and welcoming clients into the practice
* Booking appointments (including basic triage)
* Process Patient billings and payments
* General admin duties including incoming and outgoing mail, scanning and faxing
* Communicate effectively on site with our Doctors', Allied Health professionals, practice nurses, other members of the reception team and externally with other health care professionals

Required qualities for the role:
* You MUST be Reliable & Punctual
* Ability to work and remain calm under pressure
* Comprehensive computer skills
* Ability to work both as a team member & independently
* A kind and Positive 'can do' attitude
* Excellent attention to detail
* Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
* Well groomed & professional presentation

Essential Experience:
* Previous medical reception (preferably General Practice)
* Proficiency in Best Practice (or similar software)
* A working knowledge of the MBS general practice item numbers.
