IPL VS BBL

How have they changed?

Traditional IPL has been around for decades, bring used with success for treating pigmented lesion such as freckking, superficial melasma, redness, rosacea, facial vessels, small haemangiomas, birth marks etc.

BBL, or broadband light therapy has only been around for about a decade. A form of IPL treatment, but with more targeted treatment options in terms of depth, power, filter size, time, and comfort. BBL treatments can be better manipulated for the safer delivery of all the parameters mentioned above, to safely include up to a skin type 5. Newer studies (watch this space! It's coming out soon) have shown that BBL treatments have the potential to help "rejuvenate" skin cells.
