🎶Sha - la - la - la - la - la living in this beautiful world 💚✨🌿🎵

On the drive to a birth, I am grounding, breathing, and letting go of anything that doesn’t belong. Windows down, fresh energy flowing.

Preparing my energy so I meet her, fully here, fully ready . fully present ♥️🌿

These images hold a moment of deep self nourishment. ♥️🌹🕊️♥️
A time where I am invited to be with all of myself.

I tend to myself.
I give attention to myself.
To see what is emerging, and needing to be seen. I Unravell. I Unfold.
Self devotion and deep connection!!

Jess and Stephy are so intentional and true in their work.

They held me with such care and presence, creating a space where I could soften, rest, and listen.
I experienced joy, grief, and discomfort.
I let go, and I held on.
Inhaling, and exhaling.
Release and Expansion!!

I felt so deeply held. ♥️🌹🕊️🪷

From that holding, something whole emerged.
A fullness.
A boundless capacity to serve.

This kind of tending is not separate from my work.
It is woven through it. ♥️🪡 ✨🪷

As I walk alongside women and families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum season, I am continually reminded that coming back to myself is an essential everyday practice.

When women gather and hold one another with presence and care, something ancient stirs.
Connection deepens.
Care becomes embodied.
Wisdom is shared quietly, without needing to be taught.

This is how I choose to serve my community, from a place that is lived, felt, and continually returned to.
Embodied. True. Genuine.

When lived experience and mentoring philosophy align, the work carries integrity.
It resonates because it is embodied.

I share this not as something I do from time to time, but as a way of being, one that sustains me as I serve women and families.

That too, is mentoring.

With deep gratitude, 🙏🏼♥️🌿

This is what pregnancy care can look like.💚
Unrushed.
Held.
At home.🏡

A mother resting into cushions on her own floor.
A baby’s heartbeat filling the lounge room.
Little ears listening.
Wide eyes soaking it all in.
A sibling already beginning the bond. 🤍

Thank you, dear Talitha, and your beautiful family, for inviting me into your home and trusting me with your pregnancy journey. I am so deeply grateful. ♥️🥹

It is such a privilege to visit women in their homes. Home visits hold a different kind of care - connection, presence, and care woven into everyday life. I witness pregnancy unfold in real life, with family woven gently through the care.

This is who I am 🌿👣⛰️
Barefoot walking is medicine. ✨
For the fascia. 🌟
For the nervous system.
For the soul… 🦶🏼and the sole 😉 💚

I encourage it for everyone,
in your backyard, at the beach, wherever you can begin.

When we’re disconnected from the earth, we lose body awareness.
And that’s where I believe problems can start.

Pregnancy, labour and birth are no different.
Birth asks us to feel, trust and move with the body, not override it.

Grounding . helps us remember.
The body knows.
Always has.

Summer has always been my vibe. 🌞💛🌺

Being in nature is so life-giving and makes me feel amazing and Yeesss more ‘alive’.

I encourage you all to be out in nature more, get out there … whether that be in the coolness of a rainforest walk 🌳🌲or get yourself into some salty or freshwater. 💦 🌊

Oh Yes!! Enliven the soul and the spirit. 🤍Nature is one of our greatest healers. ✨

🌞✨Summertime can also sap your energy

Here are some tips, reminders from me… 😉

1. Keep well hydrated, eat hydrating foods - like watermelon 🍉 (is in season!)

2. Monitor your energy levels and rest when you need.

3. Live with the rhythms of the earth, rise early, and sleep earlier in the evening.

4. Honour your feelings and emotions.

5. Learn to say no even if this feels hard. Breathe deeply and listen inward - your body knows the answers.

6. Get out in nature often to restore and reset.

7. Follow along for more reminders and tips 😉

Come along with me, and catch glimpses of lived experience of permaculture woven into homebirth midwifery, conversations on what it means to be a woman, and of course private midwifery musings… 🌿

✨Reach out if you are interested in my homebirth or private midwifery care and mentoring.

See my bio for links … 🌿♥️ ✨ I look forward to connecting with you. ♥️
