Taking incoming calls and responding to patient inquiries in a courteous and professional manner, meet and greet patients visiting the Practice with a compassionate manner, scheduling patient appointments, processing accurate patient billing, general administrative office support to the team. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate ability in the use of Best Practice Medical Software, Microsoft Office, have basic information technology skills in relation to Windows software and office equipment, and be available to work flexible hours including weekends.

Experience in a similar role is required with an appreciation of the challenges that will call upon your skills which will enable you to prioritise and juggle multiple tasks.

Unfortunately, the state Labor Government has chosen to impose taxes and regulation that make providing such a critical service very challenging.

The result? Higher costs for you to visit a GP, and more pressures on the hospital system.

Primary health care, and visiting your GP, is a fundamental pin in our health service and should be valued as such!!

Dr Kate Jin recently moved from Sydney to Sunshine Coast with her family. In Sydney, she has worked in dedicated skin cancer clinics for many years. Dr Jin is an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor by Skin Cancer College Australasia (SCCA) and holds Advanced Certificates in Dermoscopy, Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery. Throughout years of her practice in skin cancer medicine, Dr Jin has diagnosed and treated many Melanomas, as well as BCC’s and SCC’s on high-risk locations - head, neck and lower limbs. She is able to perform advanced procedures including Flap and Graft. Her goal is to treat and cure cancer first, then close the wound with the best cosmetic outcome in mind, as well as patient preference. Dr Jin is passionate about patient care, patient education and disease prevention and regularly updates her knowledge and adopts the latest clinical practices. During her time in clinical research, she has co-authored multiple publications in international journals and conferences. Included in these are the Journal of Clinical Oncology (JCO) and The Lancet Oncology, ASCO.
