It’s not one day Smoking effects you!
It’s NOW!
Just ONE cigarette, one puff is affecting your heart rate increasing your blood pressure, reducing oxygen supply and I could go on & on!
It is affecting you even you dont “feel” like it is. You don't just get emphysema, it is a 20 plus year build up!
Don’t quit because your scared of dying or bad health, let it go because you ENJOY living! So much more enjoyable living to be experienced!
Your not saying No to Smoking your saying YES to your life back!
Remind yourself I AM SAFE to be a Non Smoker, enjoy not smoking!
Ask yourself “Would I start smoking at the age you are right now???
Of course not! It’s rare an adult decides to smoke, teenagers (kids) create the initial habit!
Let the current version of yourself make the choices!
Not one VALID reason to actually smoke!
The 3 main reasons given are-
1/ It helps me relax & deal with stress
(That is not true, it is a FALSE belief, it actually does the opposite, increases your heart rate and blood pressure leaving you more stressed and less equipped to deal with your anxiety & stress. The 1st drag in forces you to BREATHE in, hold then breathe out and that feeling is what your addicted to. It’s a great feeling that’s why 1st drag puff feels so enjoyable! Then it’s downhill from there, each drag after making you feel worse. It was the deep BREATH in you got that good feeling and helped you cope with your stress.
2/ I enjoy smoking!
That’s fine to have enjoyed smoking however you WILL enjoy NOT SMOKING way more. No one has ever stopped smoking for a few weeks or months then said my life is crap without my toxic smokes. Life is more enjoyable NOT smoking! Remember the breath in was your friend, the socialising was your friend, the back deck, the coffee, the social drink, pets and hobbies are your friends. Smoking was just associated! We are not letting go of all your true enjoyable components of your life. Let it go!
3/ It helps fill in time
Smoking DOES fill in time however you have better things to do with your time than poison yourself. There are only 24 hours in a day and even billionaires cannot buy more time. Time is precious!
