Briefly some details how it works: We have an online booking form, you give us a call or text once you have birthed. We come and pick it up within 24 hours, and return 24 - 48 hours later. Cost is $275, which includes pick up and drop off within 30km of us, outside of that there may be a travel fee. Only one placenta is processed at a time, strict hygiene measures are in place, and your placenta is treated with love and respect.

I love love love creating placenta artwork! This is a slow process of building layers of watercolour to form the cosmos. It’s meditative and I often think about our cosmic/divine connections and the realms we straddle as spiritual humans 🧝‍♂️👼🪐🔮🌏🌖

If you’d like art without encapsulating I simply need a photo or placenta blood print to work from. You can choose a colour scheme, and if you’d like the Star constellation of the sign your child was born under included.

Only $295 professionally framed or $175 unframed.

Cheers to 1600 placentas encapsulated! 🧡The biggest thank you to all of the lovely parents who have entrusted me with their placenta!

🧡And a huge thank you to the amazing midwives and birth support teams who helped keep the placentas food safe 🧊 until I collected them!

🧡 1600 is a crazy amount and I can’t really get my head around it 🤪

A huge thank you to Lyticia from who looked after my clients when I was away in NZ this summer❣️

Lyticia also trained and certified with the amazing so I know she works to the same high standard as myself 🤩. And I can relax knowing my clients are in safe hands.

It’s been four years since I’ve been back home, it was so good to eat goody goody gum drop icecream, drink NZ wine direct from the winery, and hang with my four little brothers (not so little anymore but they’ll always be my baby brothers!)

Note to self: take more photos (while it’s honestly been delicious to be off socials it has made my life documentation game slip 🫠).

(When you mention your placenta art and realise you don’t have any on your grid 🙃) I LOVE creating these cosmic pieces. Every placenta is different. Each piece takes a few weeks as it’s a process of layering the colours to create the cosmos. Optional star constellation for the sign your baby was born under 🌌Painted on the most amazing Arches paper (thick rough grain) with paints. $295 professionally framed. This is usually an add on when I encapsulate but I can also create from a print you’ve taken yourself or even a photo ☺️

So this happened! WTAF?! 1500?! 🤭 This feels so crazy to me. The biggest thank you to the families who have entrusted me with their precious placentas over the years (sometimes multiple times!) ❤️ There is something magic about this work and I feel grateful I get to do it.

And thank you to all the medical professionals who support placenta encapsulation by providing ice and fridges and for recommending me to your clients too 🫶.

Here’s to the next 1500 🥂🍾!
