9 of Pentacles
Hi everyone!
Key words for this card are:
Success, independence, confidence, financial security, luxury, self-discipline, appreciation. Financial dependency, poor planning, excessive materialism, superficiality, needing to build self-worth
This week is largely about financial independence, self-sufficiency, reaping the rewards of hard work, and a little bit of luxury!
You may have a realisation this week along the lines of; “I did this! Me!” Or “I achieved this!” and it’s time to give yourself a pat on the back! Things may not have reached fruition yet, but you can see all the pieces falling into place.
Alternatively you may find yourself in a “poverty thinking” space; you’re time poor, struggling with finances or you’re just not making progress. This week you really need to look beyond the surface level of things… If you’re operating in superficial spaces, you need to dig deeper and put in the effort to planning so you can get to where you want to be.
The 9 of Pentacles is reminding you that you already have the skills, and/or the resources to create and achieve your own security and happiness. You don’t need to be overly reliant on anyone else to fulfill your needs.
Personally for me, this card means that this week is the time to really assess where I’m at and give myself a little me time and self care… That also goes for you!
Minor Arcana cards represent day to day life. The mundane that can have an impact on our lives down the track. Pentacles represent Earth and are the slowest moving of the cards. Pentacles represent security, grounding, material wealth, but can also see you getting stuck in ruts or delaying decisions. Try to avoid those traps.
