Coonabarabran Cancer Support Group

Coonabarabran Cancer Support Group CCSG provides mobility aids to all members of the Warrumbungle community requiring physical support in their home / everyday living on a loan basis.

Our aim is to provide support for palliative care and short-term loans of mobility and personal care aids and other equipment. Our purpose is to help members of the Warrumbungle community to get around and improve their comfort after leaving hospital. Coonabarabran Cancer Support Group works with people who are undergoing treatment for various cancers; it also provides outpatient support for people leaving hospital following surgery or therapy for numerous conditions and requiring mobility and personal care aids while residing in their own homes. There is no charge for these aids for the duration of the loan. We gladly receive donations to help us provide the service. The service is run by our volunteers.
