New hours: Mon–Thu 8:30am–5:00pm (lunch closure 1:00pm–2:00pm). Fri–Sun closed.

We are sorry to announce that applications for new patients are once again closed.

We have been inundated with new applications over the last few weeks, so much so that it will take several months to work through the waiting list, particularly as we are again moving into a period of serious medical workforce shortage.

Congratulations to Dr Jean Littlewood who has received the Rural Doctors Association of Australia’s Rural Doctor in Training of the Year Award 2025, in recognition of her significant work in rural health advocacy and ‘levelling the playing field’ for rural junior doctors across the state.

Based in Coonabarabran, Jean is completing her final year of Rural Generalist training and has been a powerful voice for fairer treatment of rural junior doctors.

*Paper form required for all driver's medical assessments until further notice:

Due to a technical error with the Transport for NSW online driver's
medical form, we are unable to complete online driver's medical
forms at this time.

In order for us to complete your driver's medical assessment, you
will need to retrieve a paper copy of this form from the Service
NSW desk at the Warrumbungle Shire Council at 14-22 John Street.
Let staff there know that you need a paper form for your driver's medical and bring this to your appointment.

Eligibility rules are changing for some referrals to allied health such as podiatry and physiotherapy. My Medicare registration will be needed for bulk-billing through Medicare vouchers of these visits going forward. Please see reception for further information.
