Kath is passionate about teaching people to slow down and reconnect with themselves and to the Earth to live a healthier and happier life. Yoga Chi-Gung is a synthesis of aspects of Chi-Gung and Yoga, drawing from practices from Tibet, Japan, India and China. Yoga Chi-Gung helps the individual to cultivate self-awareness and engender health of the body-mind. Benefits include:

WEDNESDAY NIGHT YOGA FOR WOMEN - Your teacher, Kath has a career in Environmental Management spanning over 20 years. While working 9-5, she attended yoga classes to maintain the work-life balance.

Kath loved Yoga Chi-Gung so much she decided to become a teacher and has now had training in Yoga Chi-Gung, Trauma Sensitive, Restorative, Pregnancy and Children’s Yoga. Kath has taught Yoga Chi-Gung for over 5 years, has now settled in Cooran and is looking forward to teaching Yoga again in this beautiful community.

Yoga Chi-Gung (YCG) is designed to cultivate awareness and resolve stress, both physical and psychological. YCG is a system combining body-friendly aspects of traditional yoga disciplines, with techniques adapted from Chi-Gung, Tai Chi, and Pilates suitable for all levels of fitness and ages. It develops quiet strength, flexibility, and balance. The formal practice of Yoga Chi-Gung leads organically into a very harmonious state and lifestyle.

Students don't have to be young, fit or supple – they benefit from the start regardless of age or fitness. Each individual works within their own level of comfort and being aware of their own body. By practicing with a soft gentle focus, they become energized, but also able to remain calm and ready to deal with life’s situations.
