A big congratulations to the Hospitality Team for achieving another A result on their annual Food Authority audit. ASL recognises and thanks staff across all teams who have contributed in one way or another. We are very proud of the standard of meals that we provide residents each & every day.

Children from Tillys Play and Development centre Cooranbong came to spend time with us this morning. What fun we had with some shared music, balloons, stickers (oh they love a good plastering of stickers!) along with shared treats like watermelon & crackers. We love the children visiting - see you again soon ❤️

Drum circle today at Alton Lodge and the residents had an absolute ball!! Rated by participants 10/10, Lou from Happy Tappers incorporated drums, percussion and freestyle music expression which added up to a whole-lotta-fun!

In the lead up to Australia Day this Monday, we have continued to celebrate all that is wonderful about our beautiful country. Today at Jacaranda Court we enjoyed a delicious BBQ lunch following on from the entertainment of Brian & Shirley which featured many classic Aussie songs. We've participated in Aussie craft including platypus painting/artwork, armchair travel; reminiscence and even Kermit made an appearance!! Happy Australia Day to you from everyone at ASL!!

Oi, Oi, Oi…..first week of January being Aussie month and we have already made damper and Aussie craft in Bellbird Cottage! We’ve also ticked off Make-your-own mini pav in Jacaranda Court. Residents exclaimed how long it’s been since they’ve made or tasted a pavlova and they loovvveeedd it!

Our connection with Morisset High School has continued through 2025 & is planned as ongoing for 2026. We love hosting the students at Lavender Terrace and watching the interactions fade away the years for residents. At the recent end of year gathering we all enjoyed pass the parcel and carpet bowls. A big thank you to the teachers and students of Morisset High School and RAO Anne.
