Dr Jessica Rosa is a caring and dedicated dentist with a genuine passion for patient care and orthodontics. She completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil in 2007, followed by postgraduate studies in Public Health in 2010 and Orthodontics in 2011.
Before relocating to Australia in 2014 with her husband, Dr Rosa gained valuable clinical experience in both public and private healthcare settings in Brazil. After arriving in Australia, she successfully completed the Australian Dental Council examinations and became a registered dentist in 2017. She has since worked in private practices across the Gold Coast and Northern New South Wales, and also enjoyed mentoring future clinicians as a tutor at Griffith University Dental School.
Dr Rosa’s positive childhood experiences with her paediatric dentist and orthodontist shaped her approach to modern dentistry—nurturing, patient-centred, and built on long-term relationships. While she enjoys all areas of general dentistry, she has a particular passion for orthodontics, with special interests in Invisalign treatment, early-intervention orthodontics, expansion and Myobrace, and a whole-patient approach that considers oral health, function and development.
Recently, Dr Rosa made the move to the Sunshine Coast to join Dr Wei and the team at Wattle Street Dental in Cooroy, where she is excited to continue delivering high-quality care to patients of all ages.
