Let's talk about Perimenopause and why we’re feeling like crap. 🎢 These are three symptoms that the women I teach talk about the most:

1️⃣ Hormonal fluctuations: Perimenopause is characterized by irregular periods and fluctuating hormone levels. These hormonal shifts can wreak havoc on both an individual's physical and emotional well-being. From hot flashes to night sweats, mood swings to anxiety, it is no wonder that we feel like our bodies have a mind of their own! It's challenging to cope with these changes, and they can leave us feeling drained and out of sorts.

2️⃣ Sleep disturbances: Ah, sleep, how we miss you! 😴 Another one of the major challenges my clients I've been battling is disrupted sleep patterns. Some nights they toss and turn, struggling to fall asleep, while other nights they say that they can wake up drenched in sweat. These sleep disturbances can leave them feeling tired, groggy, and lacking the energy they need to tackle the day ahead. It's a frustrating cycle that definitely takes a toll on many womens overall well-being.

3️⃣ Physical discomfort: Perimenopause can come with a host of physical symptoms that are less than pleasant. From bloating and weight gain to headaches and joint pain. One of my clients said that ‘’it feels like my body is going through some kind of transformation’’. Dealing with these discomforts on a daily basis can be a real challenge, both physically and mentally, and it can certainly contribute to the overall feeling of "crap" that many women experience during perimenopause.

Perimenopause can have a massive impact on a woman's life. It's crucial that we start having open conversations about these experiences, supporting and empowering one another through this transitional phase. If you're going through perimenopause or have already been through it, I'd love to hear your insights and strategies for coping. Let's uplift and empower each other! 💪💕

🌸🌼 Sharing the Journey: Perimenopause 🌼🌸

When it comes to managing perimenopausal symptoms, many women feel as though they're on their own and must learn to deal with the changes that are happening in silence. But you know what? We are not alone in this journey! 🌺💪🏼

Perimenopause can bring a wide range of symptoms, both physical and emotional, such as hot flashes, mood swings, irregular periods, night sweats, and so much more. It's essential to remember that every woman's experience is unique, and what works for one person may not work for another. But together, we can share our stories, tips, and support one another through this transformative time. 🌈🤝

So, let's break the silence and start a conversation! If you've been through perimenopause or are currently navigating this phase, I invite you to share your experiences, challenges, and any strategies that have helped you cope. 🗣️💬

Remember, knowledge is power, and by opening up about our journeys, we can create a safe space for dialogue, understanding, and support. Let's ensure that no woman feels alone or unheard during this significant transition in our lives. 🌺💖

Feel free to tag someone who might benefit from joining this conversation. Together, we can empower each other and let every woman going through perimenopause know that she is not alone. 🙌🏼💕

If you've been struggling to get your healthy lifestyle on track and stay there, I know exactly how frustrating it can be. Trust me, I've been there too!

Sometimes all you want is to prove to the world (and yourself) that you're capable of achieving your goals. You're ready to give it your all, but doubts start creeping in. Sound familiar?

Questions like, "Can I really start living healthier?" or "Is all this hard work even worth it?" or even "Where do I begin?" can make you feel overwhelmed.

But here's the good news: I've got your back! 😊

The number one step you can take to set yourself up for success is to build a solid support system around you and your goals. Having the right accountability and encouragement can make all the difference in creating lasting change.

That's why I want to personally invite you to a free webclass with me. Together, we'll break free from any doubts you might have about achieving your healthy lifestyle goals. You deserve to feel in control of your journey, especially during perimenopause.

Warning...Rant Ahead

I am soooo over people saying, oh you're not experiencing menopause yet, you’re too young…

I am sooo tired of people assuming they know where you’re at on your menopausal journey but they really have no idea..

When are people going to understand that everyone is different and their menopausal journey is not the same. Everyone will have their own experiences, whether they’re good or not so good.

It’s about experiencing this hormonal tirade whenever your body decides it wants to, not when society deems it’s the right ‘time’ to.

THIS is what needs to be focused on NOT making women feel as though they don’t know their bodies and don’t know what they're talking about, so then they stop wanting to talk about it, believing that they will just get told that it's all in their head.

I firmly believe that if we all accept that menopause can start earlier than the norm and sometimes because of medical issues, and that everyone's journey is different, we would be soooo much less inclined to hide how we’re feeling and reluctant to try and share our struggles with our peers.

If you are with me on this give me a 🙌 in the comments. .

🏃‍♀️💨 Remembering the day when I decided to break the routine! 🙌

I remember when I finally decided to give myself a break from those intense 10km runs every single day. 🏃‍♀️💔 It was a tough call, but deep down, I knew my body needed a change. I was drained, lacking energy, and feeling like I was running on empty. 😴⚡

But you know what? Taking that step back was one of the best decisions I ever made! 🙌✨ I realized that my body needed time to recover, rejuvenate, and regain its energy. I focused on listening to my body's needs and respecting its limits. 💆‍♀️🌱
It wasn't an easy adjustment at first. I missed the rush of endorphins from those daily runs and the sense of accomplishment they brought. But slowly, I started exploring different activities that allowed me to stay active while giving my body the rest it deserved. 🌳🌞
Pilates became my sanctuary, where I could stretch, strengthen, and still challenge myself. 🧘‍♀️🌺 I discovered the joy of mountain bike riding, embracing the wind on my face as I explored new paths and enjoyed the scenery. 🚴‍♀️🌄

Gradually, I began to feel my energy levels rising, my enthusiasm returning, and a newfound balance in my life. 🌈✨ Taking a step back from those daily 10km runs allowed me to appreciate the beauty of variety and the importance of self-care. It reminded me that it's okay to switch things up and give ourselves the space to recharge. ⚡🌟

So here's to listening to our bodies, embracing change, and finding the perfect balance that works for us! 🌻🌈 Let's remember to prioritize our well-being and let our energy soar! 💪💃
