What a treat for this coming ANZAC long weekend & into next week, as we prepare to host the beautiful REBEKAH JACKSON for her first solo exhibition.
Rebekah’s work is a celebration of the power, resilience and spectacular, found in the layered stories of light and dark that build and shape feminine experience. Indigo Rising examines the reawakening of her creative force found in ocean connection; and the transcendent power found in salty, sunshine-soaked days.
Rebekah is an established Australian Figurative Artist. Painting & Drawing, she works predominately with acrylic and oil mediums, on paper and canvas. Each piece is the culmination of multilayered surface preparation, colour and linework to create a rich stage for her forms. Rebekah’s intention of creating playful, warm and uplifting pieces make them a welcome addition to many homes with a wide collector audience.
Her evocative compositions blend realism with a touch of surrealism. Her work emotively invites the viewer to reflect on the deep, rich and vibrant textural interplay between light and dark that contribute to the captivating beauty of figurative form.
