Closing This Beautiful Season of Nurture Bar,
Aloha everyone,
As we move toward the Chinese New Year, it is time for me to share something tender and important ~ this coming weekend will be our final opening at Nurture Bar at Bagnalls Beach Reserve Carpark.
After this week, the little orange trailer will be towed away as we close this chapter and prepare for what’s next.
And before anything else… thank you!
Such an incredible menu from house-made Mama’s Banana bread to our spicy Japanese curry, to your staple favourite - the Sweet Potato Wrap (that you guys would just not let me take off the menu no matter how slow that process really still is for a Food trailer 🤣) but good thing we share the philosophy of slow food and not fast food.
🥬🥒🍠🥑🙏
This past year has been nothing short of extraordinary. You all turned a simple food trailer into a community. I’ve grown mountains, particularly in my carpentry, plumbing & electrical skill set 😂 and perhaps my culinary as well 🧑🍳
I’ve been in stitches laughing with you. I’ve made real friendships, shared hugs and tears too. I’ve given away countless lamb liver Dog Treats to the cutest and bestest doggies that own this beautiful beach that they call their home. 🐕
I’ve been blessed to feel overwhelming anxiety of too many orders and long lines 🏅 I’ve had incredible support from my mum Silvia, my neighbour Fransisco, to the juniors that rocked it from day one, Oliver & Jay. I’ve felt pride in creating truely nourishing, colourful and balanced food. No compromise. Health is wealth. 🌏🧎♀️➡️
To the local community, the tourists, to the plant-based eaters, the curious try-something-new folks…
To those who helped lift 🏋️ my generator after every pack out while I built ramp prototypes from scratch 🎢🙈 legends.
To the always-resourceful team at the Salamander Recycling Centre who made magic happen on a budget…
To our local farmers that tend to the land that nourished us… 🥹🙇♀️😭 can’t even. My heroes.
To every single person who visited, supported or even just smiled as they walked past the little orange trailer called Nurture Bar. Mahalo nui, thank you so much.
As we close this beautiful season, the trailer will be going up for sale. If she’s calling to you or someone you know, a dream opportunity is here, be in contact. 🎯
Our mission to nurture the community is only growing. Just as I have nourished through the energy of good food and juice, I’m excited to expand in the year ahead, continuing… Organic coldpressed juice orders are still available at this time.
But for now… hats off, aprons off, let’s celebrate this last weekend together!
Come grab your favourites, come talk story, and join me to close this chapter with the same warmth we opened it with.
I love you all. Thank you for everything.
Thank you to my Business Baby.
Thank you God. God bless.
My aloha,
Donna.
