After a long summer of sun exposure, now is an important time to prioritise your skin health.
I’m sure you all know that our clinics are extremely passionate about skin checks and early detection, and we encourage regular skin examinations, especially after the warmer months when sun exposure is at its highest.

We want to say a huge thank you to our local firefighters who worked tirelessly during last week's fires near our communities.

What could have been truly devastating for our community was brought under control. We know these efforts often happen quietly and without expectation of thanks, but please know how deeply grateful our community is.

To every firefighter, volunteer and emergency worker who showed up to protect our town, our homes and our people, we see you, and we thank you.

With the extreme heat this week, it’s important to take some extra care ☀️

A few simple ways to look after yourself in hot weather:

-Drink water regularly, even if you don’t feel thirsty
-Stay in cool or air-conditioned spaces where possible
-Avoid strenuous activity during the hottest part of the day
-Wear light clothing, a hat and sun protection when outdoors
-Check in on children, older family members and neighbours

If you’re feeling unwell or something doesn’t feel quite right, a chat with your doctor can help provide reassurance.
