We might have been a little bit M.I.A on the socials lately… 👀
Before anyone thinks we’ve been taking it easy — don’t worry, we’ve actually been busier than ever!
We’ve been flat out providing supports across the region, racking up the kilometres and making sure our participants are getting out and about enjoying everything the area has to offer.
Here’s a quick snapshot of the week that was…
The week started with a busy day providing support across Yarrawonga, Mulwala and Wangaratta. The day included some meal prep, a swim, and finishing off with lunch at a beautiful local park.
As the week rolled on we continued travelling across the region with supports provided in Wahgunyah, Rutherglen and Corowa, keeping everyone active and making the most of the great weather whilst also getting to the local skatepark for a scoot around after a visit to the barber for a nice fresh cut 💈
Alongside our support work out in the community this week, we’ve also been spending plenty of time behind the scenes working on client reports and goal setting. These reports are an important part of making sure our participants’ supports continue to reflect their needs, progress and future aspirations. It’s been great collaborating with families and participants to map out goals and plans that will help them build independence and achieve what matters most to them.
Today was a great way to finish the week.
We started with morning tea and a relaxing walk along the river at Bundalong, before heading to the Wangaratta Leisure Centre for a swim.
Lunch was enjoyed at the Whorouly Football Ground — and we have to say the ground is looking absolutely mint! 👌
From there we stopped in at Oxley to wet a line, hoping to encourage a new hobby and interest, before finishing the day the right way — listening to AC/DC’s “Stiff Upper Lip” album on the drive back to Yarrawonga 🎸
And we’re not quite done yet…We’ll be back in Yarrawonga again on Sunday to round out the week.
We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who continues to support us.
Whether it’s tagging us in posts when support work is needed, recommending us to families, or even stopping us around town to pass on kind words — we genuinely appreciate it.
Your support and encouragement never goes unnoticed, and it truly means a lot to our small team.
Have a great weekend everyone and take care of yourselves.
