Nat Fyfe features in the newly released “Final Siren: Inside the AFL”, a huge insight into the dedication and sacrifice of one of the all time greats.
Following the 2023 season, Nat came to The Foot Clinic managing a number of significant foot and ankle injuries that had severely impacted his year — including plantar fasciitis, metatarsal stress fractures, ankle instability and neural awareness challenges. Through the tireless work of Suresh and The Foot Clinic team, Nat returned to being pain-free and went on to play 22 of 23 games in the following season.
Nat continued to attend The Foot Clinic for the past few years on a weekly basis, focused on maintaining and improving his postural resilience and giving his body every possible opportunity to perform — particularly in the twilight of his remarkable career.
We are also proud to display his signed guernsey in our clinic — a special reminder of that partnership, complete with a personal message that means a great deal to our entire team.
And if you were watching his send-off game last year, you may have spotted Suresh sharing that embrace on the ground too!
Nat, you are not only a legend of the game, but a genuinely exceptional person. Thank you for trusting us with your care, for the respect and kindness you’ve always shown our team, and for allowing us to play a role in your journey.
