We asked Ursula, who has enjoyed living in Melaleuca Suites since 2016, to share why she is so happy here so we can spread the word in our local community about our current vacancy.

This well written, heartfelt response is to beautiful not to share.

"Finding life a bit of a struggle in the old family home and thinking of downsizing, but not yet ready for a nursing home? Why not come and have a look at our Independent Suites at Melaleuca Retirement Village.

I have been a resident here since 2016 and am very comfortable and content.

Of our 10 Independent Suites we have 3 available for any active ladies or gentleman looking for a very welcoming, friendly, relaxed option to living alone in the family home.

Our Suites consist of one large bedroom, bathroom big enough to accommodate a wheelchair if necessary and a roomy living area with kitchenette for that early morning cuppa, light breakfast or snack.

The Suites are plenty big enough for one person and are very homey and comfortable when fitted out with your own furniture and bits and pieces.

We are totally Independent, can come and go as we please -continue with our outside activities - interact with one another on a daily basis as much or as little as we choose - but are aware of and ready to help one another if needed, at any time day or night!
Our lunch and dinner meals are provided from Melaleuca Lodge kitchen, but breakfast is up to you - whenever you wake up!
Why not come and see for yourself and talk to our very friendly office staff who can answer any questions you may have and can fill you in on all the details."
