Cowra Regional Livestock Selling Centre

Cowra Regional Livestock Selling Centre Cowra Regional Livestock Selling Centre is owned and operated by Cowra Council. Canteen facilities are also available on sale days.

The saleyards attract a full contingent of both local and export buyers bidding for supreme quality lambs and sheep every Wednesday from 11.30am. The Cowra saleyards are a stress-free environment for your livestock, offering clean, modern and safe yards and loading ramps, 24-hour surveillance, night lighting, disability access and a recently upgraded dual B-double truck wash. An irrigation system and water-efficiency program installed by Council sees water from the truck wash facilities recycled and irrigated onto holding paddocks. Cowra’s saleyards are MSA licenced and quality assurance certified with selling agents based in Cowra and surrounds trading prime fat lambs and sheep. Agents include Allan Gray & Co, Norman C. Bellamy, JJ Dresser & Co, James P Keady, CJ Anderson & Co, Elders and Landmark. Prime lamb and sheep sales are held every Wednesday from 11.30am. There is a one hour curfew prior to the start of sales.
