Our Chinese New Year celebrations continued today with a joyful morning visit from our Grandfriends at Carinya Early Education โค๏ธ
Residents and children enjoyed red and gold glitter playdough, themed puzzles, and created a special wishing tree. Inspired by a Hong Kong tradition, everyone wrote their hopes for the year ahead and tied them to the tree symbolising fresh beginnings and good fortune.
The celebrations didnโ€™t stop there! ๐ŸŒ
In the afternoon, residents travelled across the world during Armchair Travel to China. Everyone received their own booklet filled with fascinating facts and trivia while we explored footage of the Top 10 places to visit in China, uncovered secrets of the Great Wall, and enjoyed the beauty and energy of traditional Chinese dragon dancing.
