We're IN!
Thank you to the many people who have helped us over the past 6 months; to secure a place to continue Cowra Physio, with the moving process, and day to day logisitics to get here.

First and foremost we'd like to thank the members of the Cowra Local Aboriginal Lands Council for allowing us to lease their building, with special mention to Betty Doolan for her organisation of same. Thank you also to the numerous people who went to great lengths to help us find a suitable place to lease, including Viv and Chris Meiklejohn, the concerned community members and physio/medical colleagues and referring specialists who wrote letters of support to council.

We acknowledge also the Cowra Council Planning Department, Access Committee, Noel Cherry (builder), Zac Power (air conditioning), Caley Mok (Elders Real Estate) who have helped smooth the process to move into Gumbaya within the time frame needed.

Our amazing staff have helped with the endless non-clinical jobs with grace and good humour - thank you all!

Lastly, A BIG thank you to our friends and family(AKA "legendary Moving Team) who shared their time, expertise and "muscle" to move last Friday! We are humbled!

WELCOME BACK Rachel and Di. How blessed we are with an amazing team around us.
Rachel, just 6 months after her first bub, is back at Cowra Physio applying her physio skills Wed - Fri. We know her loyal clientele will be thrilled with this news.
Di has returned to the Front Desk to job share with Andrea. We are grateful for Di's willingness to step back into the role with her trademark "can do" attitude and kindness.

We have a junior admin position to fill and would love to meet you if you are interested.

We currently employ three juniors covering five shifts a week and we are looking for a person who would cover shifts with the view to move into a more regular arrangement when the opportunity arises.

We are looking to add to our junior administration staff.
Are you in Year 8 - 10 at high school and looking for a part time job on a weekday between 4pm - 6pm?
We employ juniors for 5 shifts a week. We have regular staff doing one to two shifts per week as well as casual shifts on offer. We value staff who can be flexible in filling shifts.

LIAM is coming back to Cowra Physiotherapy for a two week working visit.
Liam has been in Western Australia this year working at "Horizon Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates" in Scarborough. He has enjoyed the west coast lifestyle and has applied to Curtin University to do his Masters of Sports Physiotherapy in 2026.
Appointments between 23rd September and 3rd October 2025 are available to see Liam.

WELCOME Victoria (Tory) Gordon.

We are looking forward to Tory joining our team. Tory brings an extensive clinical background in a broad range of physiotherapy disciplines. Her areas of interest as a physiotherapist are manual and manipulative therapy, orthopaedics, women’s health and rehabilitation.

Tory has also been employed over the past 5 years as a teacher in the School of Physiotherapy (Charles Sturt University) in Orange. She has worked in various roles in Public and Private Hospitals as well as Private Practice.

WELCOME Rachel.
Rachel Corkery is our new Physiotherapist, joining our team on Monday.

Rachel grew up in Boorowa where she lives with Alex, her husband. She trained at CSU Albury and UC Canberra completing her Bachelor of Physiotherapy.
Passionate about sport and fitness, Rachel especially loves running, cricket, and rugby league and is currently the main sports trainer for the Boorowa rugby league team.
Rachel has worked in both public and private sectors in the region and we are delighted to have her join us at Cowra Physio.
