The Funeral Service to Celebrate the Life of Corrinne-Lee Williams will be held in the Cordell Chapel at Fawkner Memorial Park, 1187 Sydney Rd, Fawkner on Friday Sept 19, 2025 commencing at 1.45 p.m. Corrinne’s family has requested everyone wear bright and beautiful colours, for their bright and beautiful girl.

What if talking about death could actually help us live more fully?

We’re bringing a special event to Melton that might change how you think about life’s biggest questions.

Leaves & Threads is a creative afternoon where we’ll explore thoughts about life, death and legacy through art and gentle conversation.

Using a beautiful hand-embroidered tapestry known as the Bioscope, independent funeral celebrant Karen Brady (sincere-ceremonies) and researcher Dr Chetan Shastri will guide meaningful discussions in a safe, welcoming space.

When: Sunday 21 September, 1:30-3:30pm
Where: Melton Library and Learning Hub, 31 McKenzie St, Melton

People of all ages are welcome, and it’s completely free.

Next Sunday is Father’s Day, a time to celebrate fathers past and present and reflect on the important connections that span generations. Whether it’s a day of joyful celebration or quiet remembrance, our memorial parks offer a peaceful place for families to gather and reflect.

On Father’s Day, Sunday 7 September, we’ll have pop-up flower stands at Altona, Lilydale, Fawkner and Northern Memorial Parks, which are free to use. We invite all families visiting to take a flower in memory of their loved ones.

Everyone grieves and celebrates differently, and we’re honoured to provide a space for reflection on this special day.

This Father's Day we invite you to join us together with Le Pine Funerals, for a special Remembrance Service as we honour the fathers who live on in our hearts and memories.

Whether your father has recently passed or you've been carrying his memory for years, this non-denominational service provides an opportunity for you to reflect, connect with others and share cherished memories.

All families and friends are welcome, and we invite you to bring a memento or share a photo of your loved one for the tribute table and memorial slideshow during the service.

Time: 10 - 11am
