✨ Creating, Connecting & Building Something Bigger ✨

Lately at Atypical Farm, there’s been so much happening across all corners of our space 💙

Our creativity has been in full swing — from sustainable bottle cap art to tin printing, participants have been turning everyday materials into something meaningful, expressive, and uniquely their own ♻️🎨

But it’s more than just art…
It’s about building confidence, problem solving, patience, and pride in creating something from start to finish 🙌🏼

Out on the farm, there’s just as much excitement 🐴🐓
We’ve been closely monitoring Katie, our miniature pony, as she progresses through her pregnancy — a beautiful opportunity for participants to learn, connect, and be part of something really special 💫

And this week we’ve also installed a brand new chicken playground, giving our flock an enriched space to explore while creating hands-on learning experiences around animal care, responsibility, and engagement 🐔

And we’re so excited to share…
🚧 Our Entrepreneurial Hub has officially arrived! 🚧

This new space is being thoughtfully designed to support our participants to:
✨ Build real-world business skills
✨ Explore their ideas and creativity
✨ Develop independence and confidence
✨ Turn their creations into something purposeful

This is the next step in their journey — and we can’t wait to bring it to life alongside them 💙

At Atypical, we’re not just creating activities…
We’re creating opportunities, connection, and futures 💫

Lest we forget 🌺

Today we pause to honour the courage, sacrifice, and spirit of all who have served for our country on ANZAC Day.

We remember them with gratitude and respect. ❤️

💙 This is why we do what we do 💙

We recently received this beautiful feedback from a family we’ve have the privilege of supporting:

“I want to tell you what a professional and compassionate business you are…
My daughter has never felt so relaxed and at ease in such a caring and nurturing environment. I have never seen her so happy and calm.

She is currently going through a very difficult time with her physical and mental health, and as a single parent navigating multiple emergency presentations and ongoing medical appointments, I am completely stretched.

Thank you for stepping in and organising support so quickly — I have never come across an organisation like yours. What a breath of fresh air you are.”

At Atypical, we see the whole person — and the whole family.

Behind every participant is a story, a support network, and often a parent or carer doing everything they can to hold it all together.

We are here to:
• Create safe, calm, and nurturing environments
• Support during the hard seasons
• Step in when it matters most
• Walk alongside families — not just provide a service

To every parent, carer, and participant trusting us with your journey… thank you 💙

Today is National Auslan Day 🫶🏼✨

At Atypical Solutions, we’re proud to stand with the Deaf community and advocate for a world where communication is accessible to everyone.

Today, we’re asking all Australians to put their hands up for Auslan 🙌🏼 — not just as a gesture, but as a commitment.

A commitment to:
✨ Start the conversation
✨ Learn, even when it feels unfamiliar
✨ Be the person who makes space for inclusion
✨ Ensure every individual is seen, heard, and valued exactly as they are

Because inclusion doesn’t just happen — it starts with us.

💡 Did you know?
• 1 in 5 Australians are impacted by Deafness or hearing-related conditions
• Over 16,000 people use Auslan as their first language
• Yet there are fewer than 800 qualified Auslan interpreters nationwide

That gap means too many people are still left out of everyday conversations, opportunities, and connections.

At Atypical, we believe communication is a basic human right — and Auslan is a vital part of that.

Today, we encourage you to:
👉 Learn a sign
👉 Book an Auslan course
👉 Advocate for interpreters
👉 Or simply be the person who includes someone who might otherwise be overlooked

Let’s create a community where no one has to fight to be understood.

Let’s be the reason someone feels seen.
