Participants Natalie and Chelsea have each been working independently toward their goals of accessing the community in safe and practical ways. Through HHS community engagement activities, these two amazing superstars have formed a beautiful new friendship — something that has been an absolute joy to witness.

These moments are a powerful reminder of how important inclusive events are in creating opportunities for connection with like-minded people. Inclusivity is at the heart of everything we do, and this is a perfect example of that 👏💫

💚 Mehdi, Adrian & Riley K
Mehdi has been part of our community for a long time, and this month we’re proud to highlight the incredible progress he continues to support with participants Adrian and Riley.

Through consistent, dedicated support, Mehdi has helped the boys build strong routines and solid foundations. Their worker–client relationship is built on trust, consistency, and genuine care.

In recognition of the positive impact Mehdi has made, the family personally requested that he attend the boys’ graduation so he could see the results of his support over the past year — a truly special and meaningful moment 🌟💪

About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, your responsibilities may vary depending on participant needs and suitability of match, and may include:
• Person-centred daily support
• Personal care
• High-intensity supports
• Palliative care
• Supporting non-verbal participants
• BOC (Behaviour of Concern) support
• Community access and skill development
• Supporting participants to work towards their personal and NDIS goals

Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
• NDIS Screening Check
• Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• National Police Check
• Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable car

Qualifications & Experience
• Qualifications in Disability, Nursing, Community Services, or related fields are highly regarded
• Lived experience is also strongly valued, we recognise the value of empathy, understanding, and real-world experience

Today we’re celebrating two incredible participants, Mehdi and John, along with their dedicated support workers, Mehdi R. and Brianna, who are also our Monthly Gift Voucher Winners at High Hopes Services! 🌟

John has been working towards getting out into the community more, trying new things, and stepping outside his comfort zone, and he’s been absolutely shining!

Even though Briana is fairly new to his team, she has already made a huge impact. She continues to empower John, encourage his independence, and support him emotionally as he embraces new experiences.
