We were absolutely blown away by the support at the launch of DiversAbilities yesterday!

After months of listening, learning, and building, we’ve created something truly meaningful — a platform designed to make navigating disability and multicultural supports easier, more inclusive, and more connected.

This platform was created as part of the Peer Support and Capacity Building (PSCB) program, with a clear goal — to help people feel more confident, informed, and supported when navigating disability, health, and community services.

What makes this special is the people who saw the gap in access, came up with this concept, and made it possible — Quality Compassionate Services and our community.

DiversAbilities is a free, easy-to-use online space where people of all abilities and people from multicultural backgrounds can:
• Find and understand services
• Connect to peer support in the Community forums
• Access resources in one place
• Discover community events and programs

It’s built for real people, real experiences, and real needs — and this is just the beginning.

🐾 Happy International Guide Dog Day! 🐾

Today we celebrate the incredible guide dogs who do so much more than lead the way — they provide independence, confidence, safety, and companionship every single day.

These amazing dogs are true partners, helping people navigate the world with greater freedom and dignity. Their loyalty, intelligence, and dedication make a life-changing difference.

Let’s take a moment to recognise the trainers, volunteers, and organisations who make this possible — and of course, give a big thank you to every guide dog out there 🐶✨

The communities we call "hard to reach" are not disengaged. They are underserved by systems that were never designed for them.

If you are a provider, advocate, researcher, or sector professional asking the same questions we are, we would love to connect. Not to lecture. To build together.

We are looking to partner with providers who are genuinely committed to culturally responsive service delivery. Organisations who want to be findable, trustworthy, and useful to communities who have historically been left out of this space.

At an expo a few weeks ago, we hung up a display of "hello" written in dozens of languages and asked people to find theirs. It was meant to be a simple opener.

Today is a reminder that small actions, taken together, can create a big impact. Whether it’s at home, in your workplace, or out in your community — we all have a role to play in caring for the world we share.

Sustainability is something we can all be part of.

What you can do today (and every day):
• Turn off lights and appliances when not in use.
• Use reusable shopping bags instead of plastic.
• Reduce, reuse and recycle where possible.
• Pick up litter when you see it in your community.
