It is OK if you are not ready to leave your home. It is OK if being around a lot of people makes you anxious. It is OK if the thought if going to the pub / Kmart or back to the office is freaking you out. Notice and respect how you feel with gentle curiosity. Be kind to yourself always. X

As teachers we hear people say they are not flexible enough to do yoga all the time. But yoga asana is equal parts flexibility and strength and finding the balance between effort and ease.
🙏🏼 My body is naturally flexible, that’s mainly genetics. I really had to work hard on the strength component ans supplement my yoga asana practice with weights and I have just started Pilates. 🙏🏼 Yoga is a spiritual practice, asana is simply a vehicle to guide us into meditation. The physical benefits are simply a nice by product.

Curating what you take in to feed your higher self. I used to love nothing more than drinking 2 bottles of wine and watching scary movies. I also suffered from chronic anxiety but at that time did not put two and two together. These days I’m not perfect and as I write this I am in bed after I promised myself no more social media in bed (baby steps) but I’ve come a LONG way. 🙏🏼 Consider where you can better serve yourself by stopping the constant influx of external stimulus and tune in the part of yourself that is still and non-changing. Look for the wisdom within yourself.
