Did you know? The apnoea-hypopnea index (AHI) is not the only metric that determines if someone needs CPAP treatment.

Tim’s case study is just one example of AHI not revealing the underlying issue with breathing during sleep.

With the help of our Owl Eye app, Tim discovered he had signs of sleep issues, which kickstarted his journey to better sleep health by encouraging him to see a sleep health specialist.

The app triggered a deeper understanding of his sleep health, leading to a diagnosis of upper airway resistance syndrome (UARS) and treatment with the use of a continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) machine.
