With this holistic approach to health and well-being I assess the person as a whole body, not just a hip or a knee. No injury or symptom occurs in isolation. It is this belief that underpins my assessment for each person. Incorporating assessment and analysis of movement strategies from my years of training under specialists in their fields I have combined many learned skills to my physiotherapy practice. My constant motivation, passion and commitment to succeed as a highly successful physiotherapist underpin my personality and determination that I bring to both my career and the work place. I have a competitive athletic interest, and a motivated and passionate commitment to physiotherapy, I pride myself on working with athletes to achieve their goals, whatever they may be. Professionally I have worked with some great athletes across Melbourne, Adelaide and NZ including ball sports, triathlon, running, ironman, rowing and cross-fit. As a keen and dedicated runner and cross-fitter I understand the mental and physical training required of these athletes and for such events. Having place in full marathons I relate to all athletes with ambition and specific sporting aspirations. I have a huge interesting in the strength and conditioning training of athletes and include this into my rehabilitation management of the athlete through injury or pathology. The clinic has great facilities required to observe an athlete perform, and run a state of the art biomechanics lab, working with and alongside elite runners to ensure their optimum efficiency. We run frequent seminars for runners, rower’s ironman and triathletes in regards to rehabilitation, exercise physiology and nutrition combined.
