Somatic therapy is based on the understanding that trauma does not just live in our memories but can also be held within the body. When the emotions from the trauma remain unresolved, they can contribute to both psychological and physical challenges over time. This approach helps you tune into the connection between mind and body, bringing awareness to where stress and trauma are stored, and gently supporting their release. In my sessions, I gently guide you through practices that support awareness, regulation, and release.

🧠 Head vs ❤️ Heart: The Space We Speak From Matters
There’s a big difference between speaking from the head and speaking from the heart.
When we speak from the head, we’re often in a reactive space — triggered, ruminating, replaying stories from the subconscious. Communication from this place can feel sharp, defensive, or confusing… and it often triggers others too.
But when we take a moment to breathe, ground, and drop into the heart or soul space, something shifts.
✨ We speak with clarity, not chaos.
✨ We respond, not react.
✨ We’re calm, considered, and compassionate.
And from that space… others don’t just hear us — they feel and receive us.
This is the power of conscious communication. 💬❤️
🌿 Ready to learn how to communicate from a more heart-centred place? I am here to support you.

Self-editing is when you soften, silence, or reshape your truth to feel safer, more accepted, or more loved.
It can look like:
• Saying “it’s okay” when your heart feels otherwise
• Holding back your truth to keep the peace
• Making yourself smaller to fit others, or people-pleasing to stay connected
A gentle invitation:
Where are you dimming your inner voice in your relationships?
Noticing this is a powerful step toward deeper alignment, authenticity, and connection.

If you’re feeling depleted, take a moment to notice where your energy is going.
Sometimes we pour so much into caring for others—thinking about them, supporting them, showing up for them—that we forget to check in with ourselves.
It’s okay to pause.
It’s important to redirect some of that energy back to you.
Refocus on your needs.
Reconnect with what truly matters to you.
You deserve the same care, attention, and compassion you give so freely to others đź’›

Are other people directing your story?
Have you been editing yourself to fit into someone else’s expectations… shaping who you are to match their narrative?
Now is the time to pause and reflect. Look at your relationships. Notice where you may have been giving away your power.
This is your moment to reclaim it — to decide what you want your story to be.
You deserve to live authentically, aligned with your truth, not anyone else’s version of you.
If you’re ready to rewrite your story and step into a more empowered version of yourself, I’m here to support you.

Grounding my energy is one of my favourite morning rituals. I spend a few minutes standing barefoot on the grass focusing on breathwork. Grounding techniques are exercises that can help you feel anchored in the present and restore balance in the mind and body. These techniques are very helpful for improving feelings of anxiety, stress, depression, PTSD, and dissociation. Grounding exercises include walking barefoot, standing barefoot or pressing your hands into the earth or grass. Grounding is not a modern practice. It has existed for thousands of years in traditional Chinese medicine and within indigenous communities. In the 1800’s, German scientists began proposing walking barefoot for health benefits.

✨ The Power of Acceptance in Close Relationships ✨
There is deep power in accepting the truth of our close relationships.
They can be challenging—and sometimes not what we wish they were.
This is often especially true within family systems.
Acceptance doesn’t mean approval or giving up.
It means seeing the relationship clearly, without resistance.
When we accept reality as it is, we create freedom.
We create healthy boundaries.
And we begin to release ourselves from the emotional weight attached to unmet expectations.
Accept what is.
Free yourself to respond with clarity, compassion, and self-respect. 🌿
