Yoga is not about being bendy; It ‘s about showing up to your mat consistently not knowing what is going to happen and being okay with that. It’s about believing that you can do anything even if it’s the most scariest impossible thing you could ever dream of. It’s about uncovering who your really are. It’s about being kind to yourself so that you can then be kind to others. Yoga is about discovering that most of the crazy thoughts in your head are not true. It’s about being healthy without pushing yourself to your limit. It’s about slowing down to get strong. It’s about breathing and moving and smiling on the inside. It’s the hardest thing I have ever done, but also the best.

restorative yoga. 〰️

it's not alway a well know style of yoga, but we wish more people got the chance to explore and benefit from this truly unique + relaxing practice.

restorative yoga is the antithesis to fast.

it's you, your mat + a whole lot of props!
think bolsters, pillows, blankets, eye pillows etc...

the idea is to completely relax in a sequence of totally supported poses so that you can receive all of the benefits of conscious, passive and relaxed stretching.
each class will be entirely guided so that you can stay present + aware throughout.

it's like giving your body a big ol' hug!

this style of yoga is easily the most popular on our timetable, no surprises there!

this saturday we are hosting a 2 hour restorative workshop. you'll get to truly benefit from this practice as we slow down for 2 whole hours.
you'll leave feeling all gooey + restored.

good question!
roll + release is trigger-point based. this means you use props such as balls, rollers + blocks to gently massage those often forgotten areas of your body.

designed to relieve muscle tension + pain, you can expect to feel more relaxed and mobile after practicing roll & release yoga.
