A year of Courage, Mum's inspiring recovery

Exactly one year ago today on the 1st of June 2024 My world was shaken when my Beautiful mum was involved in a pretty scary accident in Cronulla. She was a pedestrian attempting to cross the road. when a car backed into her from the side which resulted in her needing a full hip replacement at Sutherland Hospital.

Anyhoo....💕

Our family was totally gutted and stressed about this but mum handled it with good humour and style. (As she usually does)
She was back home with a new hip after one week stay at the Hospital.

She was on a walker for about 4 weeks and slowly got back to her normal self in no time. We would often go out walking with the walker around the block to get mum used to walking again and regain confidence in being upright. Mum was so determined to get back to her fitness level, it was inspiring to see. 🙏

Fast forward 7 weeks, she was back at my Yogalates class on the mat with gusto (Go Mum)😄

The doctors were amazed by mums progress and put it down to her amazing fitness level and Yogalates classes which she attends regularly three times a week without fail 😄.
