About WNOW – Helping Men Be Better

WNOW (When No One’s Watching) is a safe, supportive and free space for men to connect and explore what it means to be better men in our communities: better people, better fathers, partners, sons, brothers and mates.

WNOW Cronulla stands for When No One is Watching, and began when two mates - Tadhg Kennelly and Dave Eccles - decided to look out for each other. It has since turned into a global movement where every Wednesday 3000 men around the world show up for each other. WNOW creates environments where men feel safe to connect authentically, share openly and learn from their peers to enable them to be happier when they are by themselves and with their loved ones.

Yesterday morning, our group chose to walk on the pavement rather than heading to the beach, as 20 of our members are preparing to participate in the 60km walk this Friday. The views of Wanda and Cronulla were stunning as we chatted and enjoyed the scenery. It was a great start to the day. A record attendance of 44 men was achieved at WNOW Cronulla, and it was wonderful to see some of our former overseas members return and attend the session. WNOW Cronulla

41 legends down at the beach yesterday morning — a great turnout for WNOW Cronulla.

A bittersweet one as we said goodbye to Craig, who’s heading off to regional NSW. In true Craig fashion, he showed his class by giving every single one of us a handmade key ring (photo attached). A genuine testament to the kind of man he is.

All the very best, Craig. You’ll be missed , and we hope to see you back with us again soon.

What a morning! We enjoyed a beautiful sunrise, an extraordinary sense of connection, and equaled our record number of 40 men on the beach. Numerous Cronulla WNOWers are participating in the 60km walk. We need your help!

Until 6pm Thursday, CBA will match any donations. $10 becomes $20, $20 becomes $40 - the concept is straightforward. If possible, please offer your support.

We were down a good few of our regular crew this morning as some of our members are in Tasmania trekking for 7 days. However, the beach was back to its brillant best after a fresh dumping of sand and a rake from the tractor. Perfect for some tag rugby. 🏉. Some of the moves were worthy of Thursday night footy 😃. If you’d like to join WNOW Cronulla it’s free. Send us a DM for details.

Some photos thanks to Craig Bond.

The men of WNOW (When No One’s Watching) are doing the annual 60 km Walk for Men’s Mental Health. The effort is symbolising the 60 men who take their own lives every hour around the world.

The walk takes place on the 28/11/2025.

It’s rooted in connection, vulnerability and showing up for each other.

➡️ We’re asking if you’d consider making a $20 donation (or whatever you’re comfortable with) at this link:

https://60for60.wnow.org/t/wnow-cronulla

Why $20? Because even a modest amount can still make a difference in growing programs that reach men who might otherwise stay silent.

If we all chip in, we help keep free meet-ups going, build new WNOW chapters and strengthen a network of support that fights isolation.

Thanks for considering it. If you’d rather share the link or forward this to someone who might care that helps too.
