Expiation date??

Can your Young Living essential oils EXPIRE?

Someone had asked about the lifespan of an essential oil bottle, and here is my answer:

Some oils, like Frankincense, have no expiry date. There is NO expiry date for any essential oil that is steam distilled and has NO carrier oil added.

Other blends, to name a few, that do NOT have added carrier oil are Thieves, Sacred Mountain and Purification.

Please note that Citrus oils are NOT steam distilled. They are cold pressed from the rind of the fruit. They can actually EVAPORATE through the plastic top of the unopened bottle in 2-3 years. Blends that contain citrus oils may decrease in volume because of this.

Vegetable oils, added as carrier oils, can become rancid. Blends that contain carrier oil would be the ones affected over time. However, many Young Living blends now have FRACTIONATED COCONUT OIL rather than nut oils (because of potential allergies) as carriers. Fractionated coconut oil is coconut oil that is then steam distilled. It would have no expiry.

It would also greatly depend on how the oils are stored in the first place.

✨Laundry Stain Spray✨

> 500ml spray bottle
> 3 tbsp hydrogen peroxide
> 3 tbsp Thieves Dish Soap
> 10 drops Lemon essential oil
> 3 capfuls Thieves Household Cleaner
> Top off with filtered water

Shake well and spray on stain. Let it sit for a couple of hours and wash.

With more than 852 000 rainforest trees planted since 2019 in Australia, we are on track to have a significant impact on areas such as the Northern Rivers and South East Queensland, as shown below.

Given another ten or so years of our charity's growth (and the work of several other significant groups), more native seeds than we've seen in 170 years will be raining down on the land from millions of our planted trees! 🌱
This will kick off massive natural regeneration and increase rates of ecosystem recovery across in the region.

WHO PAID FOR THESE TREES?
*196 000🌴 trees were paid for by landholders at our not for profit rates, saving them around $686 000 on these, plus...

*655 000🌴 trees paid for by our global donors (individuals, businesses, corporations, grants and so on).

*At local market rates, the 655 000 trees donated equal around $5.571 million AUD in free tree planting!

We've planted these with 139 landholders in communities across the region.

Each year we will offer more planting as our donors build and we will bring the solution to life. See the image below, this goal IS absolutely achievable for us together!
