50% of women and 25% of men aged over 50 will break a bone due to osteoporosis!

Osteoporosis is a bone disease that causes weak bones due to the body not making enough bone, losing too much bone or a combination of both. This is a normal part of aging however it significantly increases the risk of fractures.

Osteoporosis can limit mobility, result in long hospital stays and therefore limit social life and participating in the things we enjoy. Shockingly 20% of seniors who break a hip die within 12 months of the break from complications either related to the broken bone or the surgery to repair.

So what can we do to prevent this?

Research has proven that exercise not only reduces the risk of developing osteoporosis but can reverse the severity. This can be done through bone stimulating jumping exercises that take less than 5 minutes per day!

These exercises must be done in a slow, graded manner and progressed over time to ensure they are performed effectively and safely.
