Donwood is bringing the magic of Peter Pan to life with fun, laughter, and a sprinkle of fairy dust. Join us as we explore the adventures of Peter, Wendy, Tinker Bell, and the Lost Boys — and of course, keep a lookout for that sneaky Captain Hook! 🐊

🎭 Expect music, costumes, storytelling, and plenty of smiles as our residents and staff dive into this timeless tale. Day 1 of many more to come.

A baby brings joy like no other—a little bundle of dreams wrapped in love and possibilities. As you prepare to welcome your child, know that you are entering the most rewarding and revealing chapter of your life.
Today we celebrated Kayla's pregnancy with our residents. We reminisced about our own journeys, practiced with the Nana's Birgit & Robyn changing babies. We ate cake, had cups of tea and alot of fun. Kayla is a well known and loved member of staff who works in administration. Her baby is due early September.
We wish Kayla and Dean all the very best.

Another great afternoon- connection across generations 💛

A wonderful group of Year 12 Vocational major boys from Whitefriars College at Donwood Aged Care, sharing stories, laughter, and companionship with our residents.

From heartfelt conversations, to sharing afternoon tea,
it was beautiful to witness the bonds formed between our young visitors and the elderly who have so much wisdom to share.

Thank you to these respectful, kind-hearted young men for bringing joy and fresh energy into our home today — you made a difference!

WHITEFRIARS VISITS DONWOOD!

As part of their studies, Year 12 students from Whitefriars College, Donvale, had the pleasure of visiting residents for an afternoon tea and catch-up. The boys had an opportunity to get to know the residents by sharing stories, experiences, and highlights of the week. Whilst it only lasted an hour, the boys of Whitefriars College saw this as a great opportunity to connect with their local community and eagerly await their next visits in June.
