Stress shows up in the body because our nervous system is wired to protect us. When something feels overwhelming - even if it’s not physically dangerous - the body shifts into a “fight, flight, or freeze” response. This can cause changes like muscle tension, a faster heart rate, or feeling on edge.

If that stress sticks around, the body can keep holding that tension, even when the situation has passed.

We’re sharing this to remind you that these physical responses aren’t random. They’re your body trying to look after you. Tuning in can help you understand what you might need, whether that’s rest, support, or a moment to slow down. 💚
