What are white spots❔❔

White spots on the teeth can be caused by numerous factors. These include
➖illness and infections
➖demineralisation
➖vitamin deficiencies
➖tooth trauma
➖excess fluoride

Treatment to correct these spots is sometimes challenging but it can be done! There are options such as micro abrasion, bleaching or placing a porcelain veneers to mask the discolouration.
Dr Angela used micro abrasion for the patient above, and this took 2 visits.

💋Pretty in pink (braces)💄

- The lateral incisor was chilling just behind the front tooth and her top arch was leaning towards one side - a bit of coil spring, some brackets and a bit of pink flair helped transform her smile

Our teeth are always moving, no matter what age or whether we’ve had orthodontic work or not - however; in this situation, our patients teeth moved with the retention wire on! This is why it’s very important to have regular check ups and cleans with your dentist, and so they can monitor any tooth movements before it gets to this stage.

Our lovely patient decided to see Dr Jack to correct this issue, and wow! What a beautiful result!

He decided to give our patient a night time retainer to wear instead; which will hold her teeth in place and prevent this from happening again

We had our staff Christmas function last Friday... and what a blast! We loved the so much last year, we decided it was a must this year. Dr Jack and Angela then treated all of us to a beautiful dinner at the Hilton Coal Cellar and Grill. Our newest member to the crew, Britt, was off getting spoilt for her birthday by her boyfriend! We hope everyone enjoys the festivities and holiday season!🎄 🥂🎁✨ ps. What does everyone think of Jacks surprise Santa costume?!
