“Healing is not a race, it is a return.”
- Sofija Vracar

Magical afternoon with the goddess Bronwen Silvester, alongside the glimmers of winter’s sunshine and decadent Italian cuisine to celebrate you, me and our third decade of friendship!

Happiest of Birthdays to my soul sister Bron!! 🎉🎈

Another lap around the sun for us both with all the divine lessons and blessings sent to each of us to bring us into alignment with our soul’s curriculum.

We touched on this as we parted ways today and it also leans into one of my favourite and powerful prayers:

Healing is not a race, it is a return.
You’re not behind. You’re not late.
Healing does not follow a straight line or a deadline.
It’s not about how fast you get there, it’s about how deeply you come home to your authentic self.
You are on the path of love, peace and wholeness.
Every brave small step forward matters.
Every conscious pause to breathe is progress.
Embody the essence “I am enough!”
Always be kind to yourself.
And remember you are not broken.
You are Divine’s miracle and beautifully becoming.

And to end this post with your favourite mantra:
“I live to die another day!”

Looking forward to our next catch up Bella. 🫠🫠

A ‘boundary’, at its core, is a declaration of self-respect and self-care. I recently discovered when going through my old Bible Study journal that boundaries aren’t just advisable… they are divine, written in scripture:

“God, the embodiment of love, teaches us the essence of love and connection. Love should be the force that unites us, not one that tears us apart. When we experience pain, having healthy boundaries and knowing when to say goodbye prevents us from becoming trapped in a cycle of perpetual hurt.”

This revelation struck a chord within me and confirmed the nourishing conversation with Kymie over a gorgeous Sunday lunch, as well as chats with other friends and colleagues the past few months. It highlighted that boundaries aren’t about creating division but about nurturing love, connection and compassion. Boundaries are the invisible but crucial lines we draw around ourselves, defining what is acceptable and what isn’t in our multilayered lives. They serve as safeguards, preventing perpetual hurt by guiding us to recognise when it’s time to bid farewell to misaligned situations causing pain. Understanding this was transformative as a boundary is not just a limitation, rather it’s a shield fortifying our mental state.

Boundaries serve as the framework for mutual respect, communication, empathy and understanding between individuals. When boundaries are communicated clearly and respected, they promote a sense of trust and safety within relationships, allowing both parties to flourish and grow without compromising their individuality or personal growth.

Boundaries have become essential within existence. Everyone has boundaries, they just might not know it. Whether it’s in work, intimate relationships, parenting, friendships, family members, or even within oneself, boundaries are vital.

Setting boundaries for me is a pivotal aspect of self-care and personal growth… It is how well I care, stay supportive, foster healthier relationships and give to those I love without sacrificing my own health, happiness and authenticity in the process. They offer a shield against stress, ensuring that overwhelming situations don’t compromise my mental, emotional and physical health. Moreover, setting boundaries isn’t just about protecting myself; it’s also about respecting others’ boundaries and encouraging mutual respect and kindness in relationships. Ultimately, these boundaries are a tool for self-reflection, growth, and the cultivation of a fulfilling and balanced life.

Reflecting on these past 11 months, my heart explodes with emotions, and the thoughts and words that spill forth carry both depth and sincerity. As I contemplate the individuals who have stunningly emerged to stand by me throughout my entire life, I can’t help but sense there is a magical force at work.
This journey has underscored the significance of surrounding myself with those souls who lift me higher rather than weigh me down. They are the ones who don’t impose their agendas or silently sap my energy; they nourish my spirit and reinforce the sentiment “I matter” effortlessly.
This chapter is a testament to the immense power of positive relationships and their profound impact on our lives. We are not designed to navigate life’s challenges in isolation. While self-encouragement is key, the support of others is equally essential for transformation to take root, grow and thrive.

In essence and mirroring the many deep soul conversations I love having; boundaries preserve your sense of self and serve as a guide to enable you to distinguish between what aligns with your values and what doesn’t. By defining these limits you create a framework that allows you to navigate life with clarity, purpose and intuitive wisdom.

Much Love, Gratitude and Living 💛🙌💫xx

“The greatest wealth is health.”
- Virgil (Roman poet)

What I have learnt so far on this journey as a human and soul:
- God is good. Always has been.
- Life is short - sometimes shockingly so.
- Put your roots down deep. If you are grounded you bend instead of break.
- Your reactions shape your reality more than the events themselves.

You don't live once. You live every single day.
Health is wealth. Mental health is the stuff no one talks about enough, but it's everything.

We loved celebrating Kymie Brunne for the divine woman she is and another spectacular lap around the sun… Happiest of Birthdays Bella! 🎉🎈💫

We all cherish that friend who stands still in your storm and gently guides you to a deeper embodiment of self-compassion to bring forth radical acceptance, self-love, resilience and transformation in your personal life which is a reflection of ‘the work’ on your spiritual journey.

Life is a collection of experiences, and this will also be part of who you will become.
Rebuilding is a personal decision… Sometimes just out of the blue, you decide to start this healing process, others are pushed into this arena to navigate the trigger and pain of complex emotions associated with their core wounds highlighted in relationships and crisis… The rebuilding process is unique and takes time and the way you rebuilt yourself talks about your resilience.

Self-love, resilience and transformation are not isolated concepts; they are interconnected aspects of personal growth, each supporting and enhancing the other.

* Self-love as a foundation including self-compassion and self-acceptance, it is not just a feel-good concept; it's a fundamental aspect of mental well-being and a crucial ingredient for resilience and transformation.

* Resilience through self-love is key when facing adversity, and self-compassion allows you to be kinder to yourself, reducing self-criticism and fostering the ability to be curious and learn from mistakes and persevere through challenges.

* Transformation through self-love practices i.e. setting healthy boundaries, practicing self-care, reflecting on strengths, and creating a 'life vision' empower you to make positive changes for 'course correction' and redefine your roadmap to a more fulfilling future.

For me surrounding yourself with ‘positive and consistent humans’ who hold a safe space for your personal growth and spiritual evolution is key, they mirror impermanence, resilience, and adaptability, it reminds us of the inherent strength within us.

F.L.Y.
First Love Yourself

The beauty is when you rebuild your life, you are genuinely able to love those around you as your cup is full.
"You can only take others as far as you have gone yourself."

Thank you Kym for role modelling the life we all deserve to live when we are devoted to our 'inner work', and gratitude for the coaches that have grounded me in 'heart-centered' living. 🫶

“Not only is health a normal condition, but it is our duty to not only to attain it but to maintain it.”

Teaching Clinical Pilates is more than just making people fit. It allows me to guide people from where they are to where they want to go. Pilates is a cooperative venture between instructor and client to pinpoint the weak areas of the body and to strengthen them in order to increase muscular efficiency and bring the body to its full potential.
When people come to my classes or workshops they never leave the same person they came in as. That is because Pilates is a movement meditation and designed to help you feel safe and strong in your body and mind. My aim is for my students to become more educated about their physical and mental bodies, as well as leave taller, brighter and more connected to themselves..

I appreciate this insightful testimonial from my Reformer Pilates student Corinne from The Station Pilates, it highlights the positive impact Pilates has on our lives as it integrates wisdom from western and eastern healing modalities to better overcome misalignment, chronic pain and dis-ease:

“So thankful to have met Sofija. After two years of seeking help for pelvic pain, Sofija in a single Reformer Pilates class at The Station Pilates has been the only person to identify the underlying cause. Her extensive knowledge and guidance are a wonderful gift she shares during her classes. Thank you Sofija.”

I believe Pilates is brilliant for the body, mind and soul. The exercises can help improve core and pelvic floor activation, stability, coordination, and strength throughout your whole body because they combine intentional movement, concentration, breathing, and balance.
Research suggests that Pilates may have several physical, psychological, and emotional benefits that may help improve your quality of life. The best part? Pilates is actually fun!

If you would like to attend a Pilates class or know more of other wellness modalities we offer, get in touch with me on my website. See link: niso.com.au/work-with-me/

“ Your heart and my heart are very, very old friends.”
- Hafiz

Reset yourself, reset your life! Thank you “Bella” for always reminding me that at the core is the message that at any moment there is an opportunity for a reset.

Our resets define who we are, and they shape who we will become - relationships, career, family, style, self-esteem and beyond.

Grateful for all my opportunities to reset, our personal empowerment ‘button’, the portal to accessing our highest self… It opens the door to deeper understanding and a more enriching life.

‘Mia vita’ is sweeter when with a gorgeous friend under the golden rays of sunshine enjoying real conversations, amazing authentic Italian linguine and mojitos to honour a refresh on life, a new mindset.

“Look for the Light… always in all ways.”
- Sofija Vracar

This Mother’s Day I want to honour all the Earth Mothers.

We all have at some stage in our life had an Earth Mother, she is the archetypally nurturing and maternal woman who takes care of other people and has qualities that are associated with being a mother in a traditional culture where life embodies simplicity and balance. She is simply the mother, there is nothing separate from her.

Our sacred Earth Mother is an eternally fruitful source of everything ‘light and love’… All things come from her (soul), return to her, and are her. Without our Earth Mother there would be a void in our heart and soul seeking to be unconditionally loved through being seen, heard, validated and accepted.

I am eternally grateful for my Earth Mothers throughout my life.
I am grateful for the divinely guided opportunities to be an Earth Mother for another human, and know holding a safe space for you is never too much.
Being an Earth Mother fills our cup.

This engagement as Earth Mother and child is an opportunity for light to make its way through and dissolve the darkness for us both; to be curious, practice empathy and kindness, embody gratitude… and to remember to look for the ‘light’, always in all ways.

Happy Mother’s Day to our biological, adopted and soul mums.

Much Love always 💛✨xx

This quote by Debbie Ford captures the essence of our connection to the ‘light’ in our inner and outer worlds: “Look for the light. Look for it in everything. Look for it in yourself, in your children, in your job, and in your dreams. Look for it in the food you eat and in the people you surround yourself with.”

At a recent gathering among the lighter conversations on all the attributes that make our lives fun, expansive and abundant plus lots of laughter… we with a curious mind explored personal growth, balanced lifestyle hacks, relationship dynamics, taking responsibility for healing of one’s core wounds, and unblending from parts (IFS Therapy) to reveal the best life you were designed to experience…

Mindfulness, gratitude, ‘real food’ nutrition and movement was key for each of our well-being journeys!

The most beautiful people are those who bring out the beauty, strength, truth and joy in others. Thank you Wil Aguiar for organising an awesome afternoon by the seaside… We all loved celebrating your birthday, the serendipitous conversations and vegan inspired food! 🎉🎈

What came through for me on a soul level as the week unfolded was my beautiful new mantra, that you may radiate as your own or simply share as a quote:
“Look for the Light… always in all ways.” ✨

Happy 50th!

Friends like you make life’s journey just that much sweeter. For me it is the age where wisdom and adventure meet.

A 50th birthday marks a pivotal milestone in one’s life, symbolising half a century of experiences, learning, as well as growth mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
It’s a time when individuals often pause to reflect on their journey, cherish memories, and ponder the wisdom they have gained.
It is an opportunity to honour achievements, embrace the present, and look forward to future possibilities with a renewed sense of ‘self’, purpose, optimism and inner peace.

This is what I know for sure, the spirit should never grow old, let’s keep making memories that are too good to forget.

‘Thank you’ for celebrating this special day with me, we had so much fun! 😘

Saying Thank You
“There are many we meet
Who are just passing through,
And then there are a few,
Who stay to pull us through.
When we reflect on who is true.
It is only fitting to say thank you.”
– Samanthi Fernando

‘Thank you’. Those two words may be some of the most meaningful and powerful words a person can speak, type, and write.

Every life is a story. Thank you for being part of my story and celebrating in my 50th Birthday chapter.

All are divine memories I will cherish forever - the heartfelt Facebook messages and texts; the beautiful and insightful phone chats (that carried through from rising Eva to 4am the following morning Pia); my divine personal stylist and neighbour Margaret; and the gorgeous souls who shared this milestone dinner celebration with me… we had an exceptional evening!! The fabulous photos from the gathering will be in your inbox soon… 🎉🎂

Thank you 🙏

“We are here to change. We are here to grow, develop and unfold. We are progressive beings that have infinite capacity.”...
11/04/2025

“We are here to change. We are here to grow, develop and unfold. We are progressive beings that have infinite capacity.”
– Rev. Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith

So in six sleeps I am in my 50s, and the past few weeks I intuitively have been revisiting “Life Visioning” by Michael Bernard Beckwith.

Life Visioning has taught me that I have the ability to lift my frequency, shift the energy, and become a vibrational match to a higher order of being.

It is in our 40s, 50s, and beyond, we are more spiritually and emotionally prepared to become true ‘visionaries’, sharing our deepest gifts to help evolve the planet.

Life Visioning is about being so aligned with Spirit... Source... the Divine, that your soul’s purpose ‘flows’ through you...

In a ‘visioning’ state, you no longer need to mentalise the outcome, instead you radiate it because your consciousness is guiding you from the highest expression of yourself.

So much learning through painful lessons and glorious blessings has happened the past decade and now it is time to live life by my design transcending core wounds, coping patterns and fear… Our greatest gift is to embody self-compassion and learn to love ourselves for all the spiky and beautiful attributes. The most magical relationship I will have is with myself and I need to respect and trust my own inner voice. This form of trust is the way of the heart, the epitome of well-being. This allows the miracle of the mirror to attract all the other healthy relationships (in all areas of our life) that support our peace and growth, as well as honour and celebrate the human/soul that we are.

Remember to remember. By staying curious and courageous we bring our best to life, and this is a gift to everyone that we encounter.

We have been given this precious human incarnation in which each and every one of us is a candidate for enlightenment. Choose to grow into the heart of the Divine (I call this God), be love.

Much Love, Gratitude and Living 🤍xx

P.S. Look forward to making this stellar memory with you my cherished friends… 🎉💫💞

What is Niso?

Niso personifies one of my favourite quotes from Seneca – “Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end.”

The word Niso is the first two letters of my baby brother’s name (Nick) who has passed and my name (Sofija), symbolising our eternal beloved connection.

We all face heartbreak and loss throughout our lives. My experience inspired me to use my gifts of grief to:

• shift consciousness by starting my deep inner work; • take 100% responsibility for my life; • change the way I do business; • have brave conversations; and • reach for fulfillment in a way I would never have done before.
