True. You are always prepared for the next bad thing to happen, because you believe it will and it's just a matter of when. You think your busyness is ADHD, not avoidance. You people-please to be liked, you copycat others and behaviours to stay safe. You have weight issues or you dress down so nobody will take notice of you because you think there is safety in anonymity. You do everything yourself so you don't need to rely on others who will only let you down. Noise is comfort, silence is problematic, especially at bedtime, so you may have sleep issues like insomnia. Losing yourself and losing your hopes and dreams. In the end you no longer even know who you are or what you like, let alone what you want, life has become all about survival not living a dream that you once had. Your body reminds you all the time of your hurt through the chronic pain you feel from holding tension for so long, and you don't even know you are doing that, but nothing you do is getting rid of that pain, so you suffer. Your one relief is daydreaming that takes you to a time and place far away from the one you are living in, this helps you escape your reality for just a little while. But then you are right back in it, and it's all about survival and protection. Traumas can be big or small but they all impact us and there's no shame in saying so and getting help to deal with them. But first we must realise that we need it. You are so worthy and loved and deserve to live YOUR best life.
