NDIA has confirmed that future STA programs based on our successful model for participants will no longer be eligible for funding.
The NDIA appears to be moving back to enforcing group centre delivery of STA which to many in the industry is a giant backward step.
As a result and with deep sadness, Breakaway Retreats will not be operating STA programs effective 30 November 2024.
This decision has not been made lightly, and we understand how disappointing this news may be.
For those of you who have stayed with us in the past or shown interest in our programs, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude. It has been a privilege to support you in your NDIS journey, and we have been continually inspired by the great outcomes many of you achieved during your stays. The progress and personal growth we’ve witnessed are a testament to your hard work, resilience, and commitment to your goals.
