🌸 Embrace the energy of spring with these two Chinese medicine lifestyle tips! 🌿

Wake up with the sun: In Chinese medicine, the early morning hours are considered the best time to rise with the sun and embrace its energy. Try waking up a bit earlier each day to align yourself with the natural rhythms of spring. This can help boost your energy levels and promote overall well-being.

Eat seasonal foods: Spring is the time of renewal and growth, so it's important to eat foods that support these qualities. Include plenty of fresh greens, sprouts, and young plants in your diet to help cleanse and rejuvenate your body after the winter months. Incorporating foods like green tea, asparagus, and leafy greens can help support your liver and gallbladder, which are particularly active during the spring season.

By incorporating these simple tips into your daily routine, you can help harmonize your body with the season and promote health and vitality. Give them a try and feel the difference it makes! 🌱💫

A lemon, mint, and cucumber drink is a refreshing and detoxifying beverage perfect for spring cleaning your body and revitalizing your system. This drink combines the hydrating properties of cucumber, the digestion-boosting effects of mint, and the cleansing power of lemon to help flush out toxins and support a fresh start for the season.

Ingredients:
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1 cucumber, thinly sliced
A handful of fresh mint leaves
1-2 liters of filtered water

Instructions:
Prepare the Ingredients: Wash the lemon, cucumber, and mint leaves thoroughly. Thinly slice the lemon and cucumber. Gently crush the mint leaves with your hands to release their natural oils and aroma.

Assemble the Drink: In a large pitcher, add the sliced lemon, cucumber, and mint leaves.

Add Water: Pour filtered water over the ingredients in the pitcher. Stir gently to mix the flavors.

Chill: Let the drink sit in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours to allow the flavors to infuse fully. For a stronger flavor, you can let it infuse overnight.

Serve: Serve the detox drink at room temp if the weather is still cold where you are or add a few slices of ginger if u have weak digestion

Enjoy a glass in the morning to kickstart your day or throughout the day to stay hydrated and refreshed.

Benefits of the Ingredients:

Lemon: Rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, lemons help boost the immune system, improve digestion, and promote detoxification.

Cucumber: High in water content, cucumbers are excellent for hydration and have anti-inflammatory properties.

Mint: Mint aids digestion, soothes the stomach, and adds a refreshing flavor to the drink.

This lemon, mint, and cucumber drink is not only great for hydrating and detoxifying your body but also perfect for embracing the freshness of spring.
