🖥️ What is an Ultrasound?

An ultrasound is a diagnostic scan that uses high-frequency sound waves to create images of internal body structures.

Our qualified sonographers use a handheld device called a transducer, which is moved over the area being examined to capture images.

Coastal Medical Imaging provides a range of ultrasound services, including general, musculoskeletal, obstetric, breast, cardiac and vascular examinations.
