Earth Magic with Suzie Maxwell ☆ Integrative Massage Therapist and Energy Worker ☆ 24+ years A little bit about me....
I am a Integrative Massage Therapist and Energy Worker.

Back in the mid 90's I found a deep passion in natural healing when I discovered the powerful effects of Essential Oils. From there I went on to study Aromatherapy and Remedial Massage in 2000 and have never stopped learning since, studying modalities including Reiki, Shiatsu and Cranio-sacral Therapy. During a treatment session I work with the body, mind and spirit, intuitively drawing from the healing therapies and techniques I have cultivated over the past 20 years. I love holding space for my clients where they can learn to tap into their own body's innate ability to heal itself. My treatment sessions are slow and nurturing (allow up to 30 mins extra on top of your treatment time) and I highly recommend taking time out and doing something grounding for yourself after.

We are born with two basic emotions.

every other emotion stems from here.
When you are feeling out of control or out of alignment in your life with anxiety or other negative emotions taking over take the time to check in.
Where are you coming from? What vibration are you sitting in?
Are you working from a place of love or fear?
• take a moment to breath in deep •
Do you feel contraction or expansion?
Does your chest feel tight and restricted or do you feel open and relaxed?
Keep breathing in deep slow breaths and start to feel into the energy of your heart. Feel it expanding out. Focus on something you have deep gratitude for in your life if you are having trouble feeling this energy. Send thanks and love and feel your face smile.
Stay with that energy ~ keep breathing deep and slow and send that energy out into the world.
Feel yourself get lighter, feel yourself grow that love bigger than yourself. Keep going as far as you can.

Anytime you are feeling overwhelmed with life you can always return here. The more you do this practice the easier it becomes to come back here.
The hardest bit is catching ourselves to start with.
Doing this simple exercise morning and night and checking in with ourselves daily can help us to stop getting sucked into the vortex of fear that has been rising in the world of late.
We need now more than ever to lead with love, empathy and compassion.
Ripple it out like the future of our planet depends on it, because it does.

✨ Monday Morning Check-In ✨

Take a moment to check in with yourself this morning.

Mondays can be a lot.... I know.
For some, it’s the first day back to school after holidays. The kids didn’t want to get out of bed.
For others, it’s slipping the mask back on to show up somewhere your heart doesn’t really want to be.

If your Monday hasn’t started the way you hoped, just pause.
Take three slow, conscious breaths.

Notice how your body feels.
Are you running on autopilot, disconnected? A little overwhelmed?

If so, let's take five minutes for your nervous system?
To soften and reconnect. To return to now.

💛 Maybe that looks like sitting quietly, breathing deeply, and holding something you're grateful for in your heart. Feeling that love spread out through your body
☀️ Maybe it’s stepping outside to feel the sun on your skin and feet on the earth
🤍 Or curling into child’s pose to slow your breath and calm your mind.

There are so many simple ways to support your system and meet yourself gently in the moment.

And if your feeling like, “I don’t have five minutes”—
Then this is exactly when you need it most.
You are so worthy of that time.
You deserve to start your day with intention, not just racing head first into your to-do lists.

Breath, soften your shoulders, hit the reset button.

When you're burnt out, overwhelmed, or wired but exhausted…
your body isn’t asking for more pressure.
It’s asking for presence.

We live in a world that moves fast and rewards pushing through.
But a tired, stressed, and overloaded system doesn’t respond to more doing.
It responds to slowness.
To intentional touch.
To being met where it's at.

When you’re in survival mode, the healing doesn’t come from force.
It comes from feeling safe enough to let go.
To feel.
To soften.
To be held without needing to be “fixed.”

This is why my sessions are slow, deep, and intuitive.
Because your body doesn’t need more noise.
It needs to remember what it feels like to be listened to.
