Body fat percentage is a vital indicator of health.

Yes, having too much fat mass can increase your percentage and risk of disease, but also having too low muscle mass can create a higher BFP.

Low muscle mass can be lead to issues such as sarcropenia (muscle loss and strength), frailty, osteoporosis, decreased metabolism, poor balance and a reduced risk of not being able to perform regular daily activities.
