Our principal, Dr Colin Clarey is happy to be joining Dr Amelia Pappas at Flex Spinal Chiropractic in Glen Iris, Melbourne. The practice, like Dr Clarey specialises in managing complex or chronic spinal complaints that have been resistant to traditional care. An approach that has also available at our Gold Coast practice (Flexion-Distraction Therapy) and one that can be easily tailored as a gentlier approach when needed.
Tag your Melbourne based friends or family if they are needing a tune-up or some considered care.
We’re pleased to announce that Dr Colin Clarey will be joining the team at Flex Spinal from Monday 25th August.
With over 33 years of clinical experience, Colin brings a deep and considered approach to spinal care. He’s worked extensively across both urban and regional settings, from elite athletes to agricultural workers, and more recently with people experiencing persistent, complex, or misdiagnosed musculoskeletal issues.
Colin’s approach is highly aligned with Flex Spinal’s values- longer appointments, thorough assessments, and evidence-informed care that prioritises function, clarity, and nervous system regulation. His skill in manual therapy is complemented by postgraduate qualifications in sports chiropractic, and further training in dry needling, core stability, and neural patterning.
He has a particular interest in presentations such as cervical radiculopathy, sciatica, thoracic outlet syndromes, and pain that hasn’t responded to conventional treatment.
We’re proud to have a practitioner of Colin’s calibre joining Flex Spinal, someone who shares our commitment to treating the whole person, not just the spine. Colin is now accepting new and returning clients, with availability on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
