HAPY Studio provides Aerial Silks, Aerial Yoga, Trapeze and Lyra classes and workshops for kids and adults.

We are seeking an Aerial Performance Coach to develop and lead a growing part of our Aerial Community. Supporting Individuals/Duos who are keen to develop their Solo/Duo Acts to become Professional Performers or Aerial Competitors.

- The successful applicant will have their own lived experience in professional performance. Be able to guide students in:

- Finding their own unique strengths

- Build programs for development in skill, strength and flexibility.

- Create and foster connections in the local, national and international aerial and events world

- Support students at gigs, events, and competitions as deemed necessary.

The program will be developed and led by you with the support of the HAPY team. Over the last 12 months we have developed our Youth Troupe with 18 participants and 2 successful group shows. We look forward to expanding to offer Solos and Duos similar opportunities with this program, with a vision for it to encompass both children and adults.

Over the past few weeks we have had to say Farewell (for now) to 4 wonderful people from our HAPY Team as they venture off to have a baby, to focus on university studies in High Performance Sport, to explore internships in dark matter, and to compete internationally in Acrobatics competitions. Can you guess who is doing what?!

I'm so grateful for the contribution each person has made to the HAPY Studio community. We really are the people that we spend time with, and they will always be part of the HAPY family. We cherish the memories we've made, and the people's lives you have impacted in such a positive way as you've shared your passion, your skills, your creativity and your drive. You have all had such amazing careers both with HAPY and in the wider world, we can't wait to see you continue to grow as you step into these next ventures!

After their amazing first showing of Kaleidoscope, HAPY Youth Troupe is back at it! We’d thought we would reintroduce them 📣

Youth Troupe is a performance team here of teens and tweens at HAPY Studio who are passionate about performing and working towards a career in the circus arts.

And don’t worry if you missed their last show, Kaleidoscope will be back next school holidays, with even more amazing feats! A show created by kids, for kids.
